Digital Production BuZZ

Jul 6, 2012

Join Larry Jordan and Michael Horton as they talk with:

Alan Edward Bell, Editor, The Amazing Spider-Man

The last time we spoke with Alan Edward Bell, he had just finished editing “Water For Elephants.” This time he’s back with stories of editing “The Amazing Spider-Man.” What’s it like working on a high-budget production? How does he organize his edit team? How does he determine the path from dailies to finished movie? How does he balance technology with story-telling? Alan is a great guest – be sure to listen in!

Jonathan L, DJ, “The Lopsided World of L”

Jonathan L is an American-born radio deejay, programmer and publisher who currently broadcasts via the internet from Berlin. His show, “The Lopsided World of L,” features independent alternative bands and is heard around the world. We last spoke with Jonathan a year ago and want an update on his vision of the intersection of creativity, alternative music, and the Internet.

Deborah Calla, Chair, Producers Guild of America Diversity Committee

Deborah Calla, writer/producer, is the Chair of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) Diversity Committee and the Media Access Awards. This is an annual event honoring people in the industry who advance the employment and portrayal of people with disabilities. Her most recent works include writing a Movie of the Week for ABC Family, and writing and producing the feature film “A Beautiful Life” starring Dana Delany. We we are curious about why diversity is so important to the PGA.
