Join host Larry Jordan and co-host Michael Horton as they talk with:

Bill Roberts, Director, Product Management for Video and Audio Solutions, Adobe Systems, Inc.

Adobe Systems Inc. made big waves last week at the IBC trade show announcing the acquisition of Iridas, a massive sales spike and renewed interest in their professional video editing products. This week, we invited two of their product managers to join us to explain all this news. Bill Roberts, director of product management for video and audio solutions at Adobe Systems, is responsible for products on the content creation side – Story, Iridas, Premiere Pro and others. We want to know what the heck is going on over there?!?

Francene Blythe, Director, All Roads Film Project

Francene Blythe is an award-winning 20-year industry veteran and now heads the All Roads Film Project for the National Geographic. The All Roads Film Project is a National Geographic program dedicated to providing a platform for indigenous and underrepresented minority-culture storytellers around the world to showcase their works to promote knowledge, dialogue, and understanding with a broader, global audience. We want to talk with Francene to translate that last sentence into something that makes sense.

Ashley Still, Director, Product Management for Rich Media Products, Adobe Systems Inc.

Adobe continued making news at IBC with a wealth of updates to their Flash products – including the long-hoped for ability to play Flash movies on iDevices. Does this portend the death of Flash? Ashley Still, director,of product management for rich media products at Adobe Systems tells us what’s going on with her products, such as Flash Media Server, Flash Access, Adobe Pass and others? Join us this week and as we can’t wait to learn more with Ashley!

Joel Ordesky, Product Marketing Manager, Motion Picture Production, Sony Electronics

Another hot new announcements out of IBC was that Sony was showing their new F65 camera. Joel Ordesky, product marketing manager for motion picture production at Sony Electronics, is a senior executive with over 12 years experience in leading and managing operations for companies with revenues in excess of $30 million. Most recently, Joel has been leading a team with a focus on the launch of the new F65 camera from Sony. We want to learn more about this camera and where it fits in the world of RED, Panasonic P2, and Arri Alexa.
