For the feature film Black Swan, editor Andrew Weisblum sometimes found himself cutting live on set with Avid Media Composer on his laptop. During dance rehearsals, footage was captured with a Flip cam, Canon 5D/7D and rough sequences were pieced together immediately. Wow! What a bunch of incompatible media… how did he do it?
