Avid Technology tels us that their post workflows are becoming more and more mobile. For the feature film Black Swan, editor Andrew Weisblum sometimes found himself cutting live on set with Avid Media Composer on his laptop. During dance rehearsals, footage was captured with a Flip cam, Canon 5D/7D and rough sequences were pieced together immediately. Wow! What a bunch of incompatible media… how did he do it?
